College Heights Christian School

 Don’t forget to plan a dinner, or lunch, or BOTH at Red Brick Pizza (on Telephone Rd. near Kohls) the week of Feb. 4-11th.  The school will receive 20% of the sales!  Tell your friends and family join in.  Anyone who mentions College Heights Christian School during this time will be supporting the school.  

We’re looking for parent volunteers to do a few overdue odd jobs and spruce the place up a bit.  If you are available to help out, please call the school office.  658-2900.  The Worship Center will be preparing and serving breakfast at 8:00 and we will work until about NOON.  Hope to see you there!

Also, Foothill has designated dates for submitting applications.  Please call the school ASAP if you are considering attending Foothill Tech. 

For the remainder of January and all of February, we will be collecting boxes of Mac & Cheese and containers of Peanut Butter and Jelly for the Oxnard Rescue Mission.  Students may bring their items to their classrooms.  The Middle School Community Service class will collect  and count items on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  There will be a school wide reward day in March if we reach our goals.  Watch for notes coming home this week.

Look for report cards coming home on Wednesday, January 23rd.

Science Fair

Mark your calendars! The 2008 Science Fair takes place on Feb. 19-21. Students will be bringing home announcements this week and teachers will be sending home instructions very soon.

The Eagle Express is a bi-weekly newsletter that your child should be bringing home every other Friday. It will include calendar items and other important announcements.  We’ll also be highlighting teachers, students, and alumni from time to time.   Just another way of keeping the communication flowing.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the school office.
