That’s the Eagle Spirit! Great News! We were recently able to send another $200 check to Tender Life from the proceeds of our recycling efforts. Thanks to Mr. Alderson for taking the cans and bottles to the recycler every weekend! And thanks to all the kids who make an effort to put their recyclables in the correct containers. How about we challenge ourselves this last quarter to double our efforts? Do you have cans and bottles at home or at your business that could be donated. All you have to do is save them up then drop them off at school. We’ll do the rest. The families at Tender Life are worth it!
Lost and Found: If you are missing any school items, please give us a call, stop by the office or talk to the Daycare supervisors. We have LOTS of items that need to be reunited with their owners!
Computer Lab: If you haven’t seen our computer lab up and running, please feel free to stop by and check it out. It’s particularly fun to be there when the Kindergarten students are having computer class. Come see what our fundraising dollars can do!
Walk-4-Fun-dz: Coming on May 16th. Watch for flyers coming home. This will be our big fundraiser for the year, so we want to make it a huge success. Thanks to all the parents and staff who have already been giving many hours in planning, preparing, and obtaining donors for food and prizes. We still need parents to help on the day of the event. Hop on board! It’s going to be a lot of fun. Give us a call if you want to join in.
EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed: Coming to theaters this weekend. This movie has been recommended by many family and scientific groups as an important film for people who want to know the truth about the scientific evidences (or lack of) found in Darwinism and Intelligent Design. Go to www.getexpelled.com to find which theaters in your area are showing this film.
Hometooling: I ran across this website the other day. It is a free family Bible study plan for parents to use with their children. It’s easy to use and (did I already say this?) FREE! Check out www.hometooling.org.
