Don’t forget to save your cans and bottles for recycling, especially with all those summertime BBQ’s coming up!  All you have to do is save them in any container, then drop them off in the school courtyard at your convience.  Mr. Alderson picks them all up once or twice a week and takes them to the recycling center for us.  Money raised is still being donated to Tender Life Maternity Center.

What a great time we had!   Music, snacks, and lots of JUMPING!  Miss Sheri from American Heart Association did a great job keeping the kids motivated and moving.  Prizes will be delivered in about 2 weeks.  We’ll contact prize earners when they come in.

Jump Rope for the Heart permission slip!

Pool Day reservation money!

Next week!  Tuesday, June 10th is our Pool Day at the Ventura Community Aquatic Center.  Make your reservation by sending $2 per person (including adults and siblings) to school by this Friday.  We need to give the Aquatic Center a party count, so we must have reservations by Friday.

Parents interested in driving/staying at the pool should call the school office or refer to this week’s flier for specific info.

Bring a sack lunch including drinks and snacks for the day.  (No glass containers)

On Monday morning, College Heights Christian School will participate in the annual Jump Rope for the Heart.  All students will join on the playground at 9:00AM.  Students will have approximately and hour to participate in various types of jump roping skills.  A snack and drink will be provided.

Don’t let your child miss out on the fun!  All students must have their permission slip signed by their parent and returned to the school to be able to participate. If you don’t have a permission slip,  you can pick one up in the school office.

Come see “What a Day for a Daydream” presented Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:00.  Admission is free!

Our Pool Day at the Ventura Aquatic Center is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10th.  Tickets are only $2.00 per person (including adults).  We must pay in advance so PLEASE SEND YOUR MONEY IN RIGHT AWAY.  An RSVP notice will be coming home on Tuesday and will also include end of year activity information.
