Today in Chapel we kicked off our annual Math-a-thon community service activity for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Students were given permission slips for parents to sign and bring back by this Friday. The “Fun Books” have been ordered and we should received them this week as well. As soon as we do, the students will:
- Take pledge envelopes home and get as many sponsors as they can.
- Participate in the All School Mathathon Event.
- Collect pledges and return them to school.
After that, prizes will be ordered and the money will be sent to St. Jude’s. We consider it a priveldge to participate in an event that helps us think about others who are struggling with difficult illnesses and helps fund research and treatment for these illnesses.
